Seguimos hablando del pasado, pero esta vez del pasado de nuestro país.

Espero que os guste esta línea del tiempo sobre los acontecimientos más importantes ocurridos en España en el Siglo XX.

Past Simple.

Hello!!! Vamos a repasar la estructura del pasado simple.

Affirmative:

Subject pronoun + Verb (past) + Object

She studied French last year.

Negative:

Subject pronoun + didn't + Verb + Object

She didn't study French las year.

Interrogative

Did + Subject pronoun + Verb + Object?

Did she study French last year?


Complete the conversation. Use the past simple affirmative, negative and interrogative.

Anna: Where __________________ (go) on holiday?
Harry: We ____________ (go) to Egypt.
Anna: Really? ____________________ (enjoy) it?
Harry: Yes, we had a great time.
Anna: Who _________________ (go) with?
Harry: My mum and dad. My little brother __________________ (not go).
He stayed with my grandparents.
Anna: _________________ (see) the Pyramids?
Harry: Yes, we did. And we took a boat trip on the Nile.
Anna: _________________ (take) any photos?
Harry: No, I didn’t. I _________________(not have) my camera.
But I bought this for you – it’s a model of a pyramid!
